GlücksSpirale lottery supports intercultural meeting center
Rheine. cpr. Happiness lives in the Centro S. Antonio. With financial support from the GlücksSpirale lottery, two new, bright rooms were designed from an old, dark room and equipped with modern technology. The highlight is a modern interactive whiteboard, which is already being used enthusiastically by migrants in a German course. Meetings of the numerous clubs and groups, choir rehearsals, language courses as part of the language offensive, information events and supervision – the possibilities for use are many! In addition, there is Internet access so that interested parties can research housing or jobs, for example, or even “homeschooling” is possible. “We are pleased that with the support of GlücksSpirale we were able to design two more rooms in the intercultural meeting center Centro S. Antonio. These two rooms give us many new opportunities to offer digital services at Centro S. Antonio,” summarizes Elke Zeitner, head of the Migration and Integration Service.
