At the moment there are many developments in the Bornsche Maten. For example, the urban development plan for the Horsten is currently underway. Also, the purchase and realization agreement was recently signed regarding the facility center de Veste. In addition, developers are making preparations for upcoming sales projects. Municipality Borne and developers have therefore joined forces and are organizing an information and sales market in the Bornsche Maten on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.The Bornsche Maten has been under development since 2005 and consists of eight neighborhoods, each with its own residential atmosphere. Five of these have already been largely realized: Nieuw Borne, Oost Esch, Tuinstad, Singelwonen and De Veste. The other three neighborhoods, De Maten, Eschwonen and De Horsten are under development and partly on sale.
