Rheine/Borne. An exchange of knowledge between experts on the subject of climate protection is the focus of the next climate conference, which the town twinning association Rheine is organizing together with the Dutch twin town Borne. The event will take place next Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the company headquarters of DEOS AG on Birkenallee. Participants will be entrepreneurs, employees of authorities and associations as well as local politicians, who have one thing in common: The implementation of the specified climate protection goals on site. After the Technical Assistant of the city Rheine, Milena Schauer, will give a status report on the municipal program “100 percent climate protection”, EWG Managing Director Ingo Niehaus will talk about the topic “Sustainable economy from the EWG’s point of view”. An outlook on new legal regulations and possible efficiency strategies for building owners will be given by Dominik Vogt, product manager of DEOS AG. Finally, product manager Tristan Hinnah, Sales IoT and Cloud Solutions DEOS AG, will explain how modern wireless thermostat solutions can achieve cost savings of up to 40 percent in existing buildings. The event will end at 6 p.m. with an exchange of views between the experts.
