“From white time”

A radio play consisting of exciting prose and poetry from world literature, in which white plays a very special role.Rheine. The radio play “Von weißer Zeit” is a fantastic, literary and musical variation on the color white. Anja Bilabel has arranged it as an atmospheric evening of exquisite prose and poetry from world literature in which the color white plays a special role. Texts by Rose Ausländer, Truman Capote, Sarah Kirsch, Virginia Woolf, Ingeborg Bachmann and Rainer Maria Rilke, among others, are presented synesthetically, mysteriously alternating with the music. Verena Volkmer accompanies them on the harp.

The actress and director of the chamber radio plays of the Lauschsalon Anja Bilabel completed her acting studies at the Fritz Kirchhoff School in Berlin. From 1998 to 2008 she was engaged as a permanent actor, mainly in leading roles, at various German theaters. Since 2008 she has been working independently and as a guest actress throughout Germany. As a radio play and feature speaker, Anja Bilabel is still active for Deutschlandfunk Cologne, WDR, Hessischer Rundfunk and HR television.

Both in acting and in her voiceover work, she has received several nominations and awards for her plays and radio plays. Anja Bilabel lives in Münster, commutes mainly to Frankfurt (theater, radio, television, dubbing), Cologne (radio, audio book) and to all the places where her Lauschsalon makes guest appearances. The event is organized in cooperation with the Equal Opportunities Office of the City of Rheine.The event will take place on Saturday, 09.04.2022 from 17.00 – 18.30 clock in the Salzsiedehaus, Salinenstraße 105, 48432 Rheine.
