DGB rally for the first time again on the Rheiner market place

For the first time after many years, the May Day rally of the DGB and the individual trade unions was held again today on the market square. In bright sunshine, numerous interested people had gathered and listened to the speeches of the speakers.

The tenor of the speeches: The world is in permanent crisis mode: energy crisis, climate crisis, the war in Ukraine, high inflation and the effects of the Corona pandemic are creating uncertainty and plunging many people into existential worries. “We trade unions stand by their side. Together, on Labor Day, we set a visible sign for a just and peaceful future, for a strong welfare state and efficient public services. Together, we stand in unbroken solidarity!”
