RheineOn Wednesday, Mayor Dr. Peter Lüttmann welcomed a group of trainees from the Polish town of Biala Podlaska to the town hall. They are visiting Rheine as part of an exchange program with the Steinfurt district vocational college Rheine. The group was accompanied by teachers from Poland and Germany. In the council chamber, Mayor Dr. Lüttmann told the guests interesting facts about the city of Rheine and answered their questions.
Over the next few days, the group will complete a varied program with information visits, company tours and internships in Rheiner companies. The exchange takes place at regular intervals and is sponsored by the German-Polish Youth Office.
