The 2022 Wine Festival starts today:

On Friday and Saturday, June 10 & 11, 2022, it’s that time again. In a relaxed atmosphere and with appealing live music, we present – Rheine. Tourism. Veranstaltungen. e.V. – will once again present a varied program around the Winzerfest. This year the whole thing will take placeon the forecourt of the Falkenhof.

On Friday, June 10, the Winzerfest 2022 will start at 5:00 pm. From 17:30 “Hey Joe” opens the stage with skillful guitar playing and singing, which is on this day musically in the spirit of Rheine.

Traditionally, the mayor of Rheine, Dr. Peter Lüttmann, and the chairman of Rheine. Tourism. Veranstaltungen. e.V., Ferdinand Hennigfeld, then officially open the wine festival at 8:00 pm. After the “Wine of the year 2022 for Rheine”, was presented, “Anna Weniger” will entertain the guests. With guitar and piano in the luggage she enchants the audience with a mixture of various rock & pop classics with their own touch. She hands over the stage from 21.15 clock to the “Gedicke Duo” supported by “Janina Ribeiro”. World-famous songs, presented unplugged and in addition passionate singing – the three thoroughbred musicians will quickly win over the audience.

On Saturday the wine festival starts at 15.00 o’clock. The stage program starts from 16.00 o’clock with the “Shanty choir Rheine”. The gentlemen create a cozy atmosphere for a social gathering with a glass of water or wine. “The KaiserBeats” inspire the guests of the Winzerfest from 20.00 o’clock. The four young suits from Osnabrück play the most popular, cult hits of the 50s and 60s.

In addition to the stage program, the wine is of course in the foreground. This year, a white Burgundy has been chosen as “Wine of the Year” for Rheine. The noble drop can be tasted and bought directly on site. Furthermore, a small but fine range of selected dishes and a diverse selection of excellent wines from the German wine-growing regions attract visitors to the Falkenhof. The winegrowers from Franconia, Palatinate and Rhinehesse are looking forward to numerous wine connoisseurs and friends.

The winegrowers’ festival on the Falkenhof forecourt is open on Friday from 5 p.m. – midnight and on Saturday from 3 p.m. – midnight. The entrance is free.
