Finally to Münster and Düsseldorf

Andrea Stullich (unten links) empfing die Gäste aus Leiria im Düsseldorfer Landtag.

For the last excursion together with German and Portuguese students they visited Münster together. Clemens Schöpker once again gave a very personal guided tour.

The lWL-Landesmuseum was also a destination in Münster.

After important historical sights in Münster, such as the cathedral and the Peace Hall, the students had four hours to take a closer look at the city, go shopping or have something to eat.

On the last day, the students from Rheines twin city Leiria were guests in Düsseldorf. The CDU member of the state parliament Andrea Stullich from Mesum took a lot of time for the visit and guided the guests through the state parliament. On the tribune of the plenary hall, in the room of the state press conference and in the “Kaffeeklappe” (that is the refreshment room on plenary days) there was a lot of opportunity to talk about the political work of the members of parliament, the processes in the state parliament and especially about the division of tasks between the federal government and the states.

Clemens Schöpker from the partnership association accompanied the visit. From the Landtag, the young people took a walk to the Rhine before continuing directly to the airport and back to Portugal.
