Rheine. On Saturday, 27.08.2022, the representatives of the association “Rheine bewegt e. V.” and Philipp Roß as well as Rezan Osmanoglu from Provinzial handed over a symbolic check to the employees of the Kremer House. The check showed the immense amount of 1.442,43 €.
The association organized a benefit concert on 20.08.2022 in front of “Connys Köppken” on the Thie. The bands “Crazy Trash Man” and “The real Fake” waived their fees for their performances, so that the association did not incur any additional costs. During the evening, about 300 guests gathered in a cozy atmosphere in front of the “Köppken”. The guests of the event were asked to donate to the municipal social institution of the city of Rheine, the Kremer House. In return, they could look forward to rock music of the very best from the past decades. Jörg Jäger, the product manager of the city of Rheine responsible for the Kremer House, personally addressed those present beforehand to discuss the work of the staff of the Kremer House and the use of the donations. The Kremer House is a facility for homeless people. Here they can get advice and help with official matters. There is also the possibility to get a place to sleep for a short time. In addition, there is a longer-term semi-stationary residential offer. In this context, a new living and working perspective is to be created for the residents within a period of 12-18 months.
Mr. Jäger’s foreword and, above all, the exuberant mood spread by the musical acts helped to raise a total of €942.43 from the guests. As if that wasn’t good enough, those responsible at the Provinzial office on Humboldtplatz donated the proud sum of €500.00 on top. Philipp Roß and Rezan Osmanoglu were so enthusiastic about the idea of the benefit concert that they were happy to make their generous contribution to the fundraising.
The staff of the Kremer House are delighted with the sum raised and would like to express their sincere thanks to all participants and donors for their commitment and trust.
