The Ems meadows are under water, parts of the Timmermanufer are under water. What became apparent yesterday led to a major operation today by police, technical emergency service and fire department. The water had entered the basement of the old Emsmühle. Further protective measures were taken here.

Parts of the zoo grounds are also currently under water. Some paths and areas are inaccessible. The care of the animals is ensured. The NaturZoo is still open. However, there are restrictions on visiting the zoo.
