Rheine. In terms of cycling, a lot has happened in Rheine in recent years: The implementation-oriented cycling concept is being successively implemented, the restructuring and bundling of departments has been completed and numerous infrastructure measures have been planned and built. Last but not least, the award as a bicycle-friendly city and the inclusion in the Working Group of Pedestrian and Bicycle Friendly Cities and Municipalities (AGFS) prove that the city Rheine is making considerable efforts to improve the comfort and safety of cyclists and pedestrians.
During the annual informational bicycle tour, which according to the department 5.30 Mobility and Transportation Planning is to be developed into a good tradition, implemented and future planned measures are presented and explained to citizens.
The two-hour after-work bike tour, begins on Wednesday 20.09.2023, at 17:00 in front of the city hall and takes place under the expert leadership of the mobility and transport planning of the city Rheine.
