The winners of the homeland price of the city Rheine are certain
Rheine. The Homeland Award is an initiative of the Ministry of Homeland, Municipalities, Construction and Digitalization (MHGBD) and gives districts, independent cities and municipalities the opportunity to participate. It is being offered for the third time this year. New and thus for the first time, the city of Rheine is also involved.
The procedure provides for a total of three prize winners to be named in a municipality, with prize money totaling €5,000 available. The first-place winner automatically takes part in the competition for the State Home Prize.
The public call of the city Rheine, to apply and/or possible winners to suggest, was successful. Thus the cultural committee, which was appointed as a jury, was able to select three prize winners. The winners are (in alphabetical order) the Heimatbühne AltenRheine, the Heimatverein Rheine and the Niederdeutsche Bühne. The respective ranking, just like the distribution of the price money, is betrayed by the way only on the day of the price delivery.
The “Heimat” sponsorship program is all about what unites people, about community and cohesion. The program supports activities that connect people and strengthen regional identity.
