Mr. and Mrs. Fleege donate to Rheiner Tafel
Rheine.cpr. Pleasant news for the Rheiner Tafel of Caritas Rheine. The married couple Christa and Stephan Fleege have donated 500 euros to the Tafel. Instead of Christmas presents, the couple decided this year to support the Tafel with this donation. Jörg Rosinke, responsible for the social department store Brauchbar & Co, where the Tafel is located, expressed his gratitude for the support. “This donation contributes to maintaining the work of the Tafel and thus directly benefits those affected by poverty in Rheine,” Rosinke is pleased to say. “In recent months, the number of outreach workers at the Tafel has increased significantly, so this donation will help here in a tangible way,” Rosinke continued.
Throughout Germany, the Tafeln have the mission of saving food and passing it on to those affected by poverty. Food donations from retailers and wholesalers, volunteers and donations like the one from Mr. and Mrs. Fleege help to continue this work at Rheine.
