Dr. Mechthild Beilmann-Schöner retires after 30 years of service

RheineAfter three decades, Dr. Mechthild Beilmann-Schöner is retiring from her position as director of the municipal museums Rheine at the end of the year. To thank her for her work for the city of Rheine and to bid her farewell, a reception was held on Monday in the Morriensaal at the Falkenhof Museum.

Dr. Mechthild Beilmann-Schöner is the first full-time director of the municipal museums Rheine. During her tenure, new museum locations were added to the Falkenhof site with the Bentlage Monastery, the Salzsiedehaus and the Josef-Winckler-Haus. As a result, the municipal museums can now offer an even richer range of cultural and educational activities.

Mayor Dr. Peter Lüttmann and the Director of the Museum Foundation Rheine, Helmut Lechte, expressed their thanks for the successful work and wished all the best for the future.
