Pop choir Voices hands over donation to ecumenical outpatient hospice of Caritas Rheine

Rheine.cpr. With a donation of 1.240,50 Euro the pop choir Voices can support the ecumenical ambulant hospice in Rheine. In a benefit concert in the St. Marienkirche in Rheine the Voices together with the choirs “Melodize+” from Ladbergen and “Die Liederlichen” from Ibbenbüren gave a small but fine concert. The program was musically complemented with an interlude by Janina Benner. The concert ranged from a light-footed “Feeling groovy” to a sensual “Irgendwas bleibt” to a convincing “It`s My Life”.

In the course of the event, the hospice coordinator Petra Winter and the two voluntary escorts Gabriele Berkemeier and Thomas Kamp reported on the offers of the outpatient hospice work and supplemented these with personal experiences from the empathetic escorts. It was an all-around successful event, which the audience rewarded with much applause and donations. Thanks to the financial support of the Schröerlücke printing company from Ladbergen and the Heimatpower project of the Kreissparkasse Steinfurt, all the costs for printing posters and the expenses for technology and other equipment were covered in advance.

All proceeds on this evening could therefore be passed on completely to the outpatient ecumenical hospice. The money will be used for the training and further education of the hospice volunteers. Once again, many thanks to all involved!
