Around the salt: family evening and vacation program

Let’s go to the family evening in the salt workshop: The next date for this community experience offered by the Rheine Municipal Museums is Saturday, March 26,22 from 6 to 7:30 pm. Families with children will learn about the historical boiling pans and the salt storage facilities in the Salt Boiling House, among other things, during a guided tour. Afterwards, all participants can boil their own salt from the original Bentlager brine in the salt workshop. This can be used at home, for example, to prepare your own favorite dish.

The cost is € 3 per person. The number of participants is currently limited to 15 people, so registration is highly recommended at the Municipal Museums at 05971 – 920610 (until Fri 1pm) or 05971-918450 (Sat from 2pm). Adult participants must currently present your 3G proof to participate. And wearing a medical mask or FFP 2 mask is required during the event.

Registrations are now open on the rheine.feripro.de platform for the Salt Workshop vacation program, which will be offered on Tuesday, April 12 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for children aged seven to ten and will feature exciting activities for them to participate in and try out.
