Rheine. The Elteraner welcome new citizens warmly with a specially created brochure “Welcome to Elte”. Also for the old-established there is a lot of important information about the club life in Elte, the festivals of the village and – by means of a map – a number of good-to-know points in the village. The village working group “Brochure Design” had redesigned this booklet in a modern format and with updated contents. During a visit to the town hall, Felix Blomberg from the “Brochure Design” working group handed over a few copies of the booklet to Mayor Dr. Peter Lüttmann. Dr. Lüttmann was very positive about the basic idea of such a brochure and the implementation in design and content.
“Because of the imitable idea of such a form of welcoming new citizens, we have supported the project” emphasized Dr. Lüttmann. The Elte district advisory council distributed the brochure to Elteran households in the last few days, and almost 900 brochures found their way to the residents of the village. The response was very positive; one Elte native expressed his enthusiasm for the project and immediately gave the accompanying granddaughter of a district advisory council member a bag of cherries as a thank-you gift. “We feel really accepted in the village and appreciate the information of such a brochure very much” expressed a new citizen.
