Trakai. Winter has Rheines Lithuanian twin town firmly in its grip. A permafrost was followed by snowfall. While the city of Trakai is busy clearing all the roads and sidewalks, the winter landscape has also created wonderful pictures. For example, the town’s landmark, Inselburg Castle, with its striking brick architecture, stands out glowing red against the snow-covered surroundings and the frozen Lake Galve.
