Cycling group of the town twinning association started for the Rose Festival in the twin town
It was really cold today at 8:30 a.m. when organizer Engelbert Nagelschmidt gave the starting signal for the bicycle tour to Bernburg. There they want to celebrate the traditional “Rose Festival” together with the citizens of the twin town on the coming weekend.
16 cyclists set off from Bernburgplatz at the town hall. The deputy mayor, Fabian Lenz, gave the best greetings for Bernburg and after a short briefing they started pedaling.

The first section is 77 kilometers long and leads to Melle. On the way, a stop is made at Haus Marck in Tecklenburg. In the afternoon, a stop is planned in Bad Iburg, after which the remaining kilometers to Melle will be covered.
