On Sunday, February 26 at 3 pm will again be offered a themed tour in the Falconry Museum. This time it is dedicated to the artists from Rheine, who gained greater fame in the period from about 1850 – 1960. Carl Weddige, Carl Murdfield, Carlo Mense and after the Second World War also Joseph Krautwald, these are the well-known personalities about whom the participants of the tour will learn interesting facts. The focus will be on the artworks themselves, which are presented in the permanent exhibition in several cabinets on the second floor of the Falkenhof Museum. The joint tour offers time for a closer look at these paintings and sculptures and at the same time provides information about the subjects depicted, about motifs from the city Rheine and about the respective era. Participation costs 5 € per person, a 4-person ticket for the public tours of the Municipal Museums is available for 16 €. Information: 05971 – 939 711.
