A truck loaded with 20 tons of solidarity left Leiria this Thursday for the Ukraine, as a result of the campaign to collect goods to support the population of that country which is going through dramatic moments after the military invasion perpetrated by the Russian Federation.The truck is loaded with 32 boxes of hygiene articles, 394 boxes of thermal clothes, 138 boxes of food, 47 boxes of health articles and 17 boxes of accessories, in a total of 26 pallets.At the moment of departure, the Mayor of Leiria, Gonçalo Lopes, highlighted the “extraordinary adhesion registered in Leiria” to this humanitarian aid campaign.
