“The falconry and its inhabitants” on Thursday

On Thursday, 14. 07. at 16 o’clock will be offered again a themed tour in the Falkenhof Museum. This time it is about the house itself and its former inhabitants. Who actually lived here and what historical traces can be seen on the building? Tour guide Marianne Probst will introduce participants to historical coats of arms, portraits of the Morrien family and much more. In the Falkenhof, children once played with marbles and banquets were celebrated or contracts were concluded in the large hall. The Falkenhof finds also contribute to shedding light on the time when wine was drunk in this house from wafer-thin glasses of Venetian style, but also a good Münsterland pancake was appreciated.

Until mid-September, the series of themed tours will then continue every fortnight on Thursday afternoons. Participation costs € 5, a transferable 4-ticket is available for € 16 at the museum box office. Information 05971 – 920610
