Pupils well received in Leiria

RheineAs for the students from Leiria a few weeks ago in Germany, the first day of the Rheinenser began with a visit to the schools in Leiria. There were, for example, impressions of sports lessons or biology. Following the lessons, there was a morning snack in the cafeteria, during which there was an exchange about what had happened in the morning.

The program continued with a tour of the school building organized by the Portuguese students. At the end of the school day, the German students were received by the principal of Francisco Rodrigues Lobo High School.

After the two-hour lunch break, there was a meeting with the mayor of Leiria, Gonçalo Lopes and a small tour of the city hall. At the end of the day, a dance class was planned in which both the German and the Portuguese students would be taught traditional dances.
