RheineOn Thursday, March 14, 2024, the deputy mayor, Fabian Lenz, welcomed around 40 pupils and their teachers from Spain and Greece. They were accompanied by pupils from the Alexander von Humboldt School. The group is spending around a week in Rheine as part of the EU’s Erasmus+ program, which promotes environmental sustainability and environmentally friendly behaviour. In the council chamber, Fabian Lenz shared interesting facts about the city of Rheine and answered many of the guests’ questions. Afterwards, the visitors were able to view Rheine from above on a trip to the roof of the town hall and the obligatory photo was taken.
