
The “Emerging Communication” stele by Steinfurt artist Leo Janischowsky was originally intended to remain in its current location next to the Stadthalle for the time being. After completion of the Bernburgpark, it was to be dismantled and reassembled at another location in the park. Dismantling the artwork as a whole was out of the question, as the almost seven-metre-high sculpture made of bulletproof glass and precious metal was too heavy. In the course of the construction work, however, it turned out that the stele was literally in the way. Over the last few days, the armored glass panels, which were stacked on top of each other, were dismantled one by one. They were temporarily stored in a container at the construction site and secured in this way
