New Caritas Travel 2024 program now available

Rheine. cpr. The new catalog 2024 of the Caritas associations in the district of Steinfurt is now available. “As every year, we again have a varied offer for interested and enthusiastic travelers,” says Anja Rickert of the advisory center for the elderly and family members. Trips are again offered to Bad Waldliesborn or Bad Rothenfelde. For those who like to travel further afield, trips to Bad Lauterberg in the Harz Mountains or the Kaiserbad Kissingen in Bavaria are certainly interesting destinations. New on the program are trips to Bad Zwischenahn and Bad Wildungen. The popular destinations on the North Sea and Baltic beaches are of course also back on the program. On April 24 there is a 15-day trip to Norderney and on May 9 to both Travemünde and the beautiful Timmendorfer Strand at the Maritim Hotels there. On June 7, participants can enjoy 11 days on the beautiful North Sea island of Borkum.

On April 28 and September 7, they will spend 11 days in the Baltic resort of Dahme. A second trip to the North Sea island of Norderney begins on Aug. 17.

A nine-day stay in Bad Rothenfelde during Advent with a visit to the Christmas market is a nice change during the dark days. The illuminated saltworks and the festively decorated Bad Rothenfelde also add to the contemplative atmosphere. This year there is also an 11-day vacation for those in need of care and people with dementia and their families at the barrier-free house in Bad Bevensen on May 7. A thirteen-day vacation for dependents and people with dementia and their loved ones will take place on Norderney on August 30. On both trips, specialists and helpers are present to care for and support the travelers. A feature of these trips is that there are both joint and separate vacation offerings for those in need of care and their loved ones.

There are two destinations to choose from during the Christmas period and the turn of the year 2024/25: Bad Pyrmont with two different types of accommodation and Bad Bevensen.

The trips will be accompanied by trained tour guides who will advise and assist the seniors and make the vacations more enjoyable with fun social activities.
