Customers of the Caritas food bank Rheiner Tafel can look forward to a Christmas roast / Social department store reopens on January 2
Rheine.cpr. The roast sponsorship campaign of the Caritas social department store Brauchbar und Co. has once again achieved an impressive result this year, and is now in its eighth year. Around 6,000 euros were raised this year, meaning that all eligible families could once again be provided with a Christmas roast. The voluntary and full-time employees of the social department store would like to thank all donors who make this campaign possible with their small and large contributions. “Without your support, it would not have been possible to support so many families at Christmas,” explains Elke Teschner, head of the social department store. With this campaign, your donation goes directly to the families affected in the deanery Rheine.”We would also like to make a special mention of the volunteers who have contributed their tireless efforts and time to ensuring that all Tafel customers are supplied with food. “Their commitment is a shining example of solidarity and charity in our community,” said Teschner.
Thanks also go to the butchers who, despite the Christmas business, still take time for the additional work processes that this campaign entails.During the coming holidays and over the turn of the year, the Caritas social department store will be closed from December 23, 2024 up to and including January 1, 2025. From January 2, 2025, the Caritas social department store Rheine will be open again at the usual times.
