Rheine. All children who reach the age of 6 by September 30, 2024 (birthday period 01.10.2017 to 30.09.2018) will be required to attend school in the summer of 2024. All legal guardians of the affected children residing in Rheine have already received an invitation to enroll in school in September 2023.
Registration for school will take place at the respective selected elementary school. At least one legal guardian should come to the registration with the child to be registered.
The following items should be brought to the registration:
– Invitation to enroll in school, letter dated 09/18/2023.
– Birth certificate or family register
– Copy of the court decision in the case of custody decisions
– Vaccination certificate of the child
– If applicable, registration form of the elementary school (available on the homepage).
Elementary school freshman registrations for the 2024/25 school year will be held on the following dates this year:

It is mandatory to make an appointment in advance. For this purpose, the selected school must be contacted by telephone.
