Railroad history boards have new location

Rheine. In coordination between the city of Rheine, the district of Steinfurt and the Technical Works Rheine, a new location was found for the information boards “Rheiner Eisenbahngeschichte” in the area of the turning ramp on Leugermann Straße. After the signs had been defaced by dirt bunnies at their last location, Heinz Schulte took care of the signs and was able to free them from the dirt again in intensive work. The cleaned signs have now found a new place at the Triangel cycle path. They have the function to bring the passing cyclists the historical history of the railroad in Rheine closer. With a QR code you can also watch a short film about the railroad history.
