Rheine. The administrative offices will be open on Monday, December 23, 2024 (day before Christmas Eve) and Monday, December 30, 2024 (day before New Year’s Eve). On Friday, December 27, 2024, the administration will be closed to visitors. The city archive and the cultural office will not be open to the public from 23.12.2024 to 01.01.2025. The VHS and the music school will be closed from 23.12.2024 to 03.01.2025.
The Falkenhof Museum and the Museum Kloster Bentlage will be open on Boxing Day, 26.12. from 10 am to 6 pm. The museums are closed on Christmas Eve and the first national holiday as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Otherwise, the usual opening hours apply during the Christmas vacations: Tuesday to Saturday from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. The Josef-Winckler-Haus in Salinenpark is always open on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 pm to 6 pm, including December 28 and 29. Admission to all museums is free. The doors of the municipal library will also be closed over the Christmas holidays and on New Year’s Eve. The library will therefore be closed from December 23 to December 26, 2024 and from December 30 to January 1 , 2025.
