On Sunday, January 22 at 3 pm starts the next public guided tour in the Museum Kloster Bentlage. The visitors will walk in the footsteps of the former inhabitants of the Crusader monastery, whereby the eventful history of this place is conveyed very directly. Whether in the cloister or in the former sacristy, the exhibited works of art and the architecture enter into an exciting dialogue. The joint tour with a tour guide also includes the Westphalian gallery. Here, paintings and sculptures from the holdings of the LWL Museum of Art and Culture, Münster, can be seen, such as Otto Modersohn’s early landscapes, August Macke’s cheerful flower still lifes, and abstract works by Josef Albers. The participation fee is €5; a transferable 4-ticket is available for €16 at the museum box office. Information: under 05971 – 920610.
