On the occasion of the professional holiday, the employees of the institutions providing social services in Trakai district were welcomed on 27 September at the Trakai Culture and Art Centre.
They were greeted by the Mayor of Trakai District Municipality Andrius Šatevičius and the Vice-Mayor Jolanta Abucevičienė. They thanked them for their strong determination to follow a difficult and challenging professional path and for their excellent results.
The greetings of Edita Rudeliene, Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, were conveyed by her advisor Aušrinė Lukošiūtė-Aleksandravičienė. The elders of the municipality’s elders’ districts, who observe the efforts, dedication and fruits of the work of the social workers who help the inhabitants of the district, were also full of praise.
The Mayor presented the social workers with letters of appreciation for their dutiful, competent and sincere work, and the Royal Theatre of Trakai surprised them with another special gift. This time, the company presented a performance of their play “The Odd Couple”.
