GO Sharing stops offering shared scooters and bikes in areas including. Borne

GO Sharing’s shared scooters and bikes will slowly disappear from the streets of Twente. GO Sharing is stopping its activities in a number of cities because of disappointing turnover and vandalism. This includes the Enschede and Hengelo region, which includes Borne.

GO Sharing says it sees the departure as temporary and will focus on making the system profitable. Research is being done to see what it would take to extend the use of shared transport to locations that are currently not profitable.

BoltBolt, a provider of electric bicycles, will remain active in Borne for the time being.

Together with other municipalities, the municipality of Borne will examine in a regional context whether and how to give further substance to shared mobility.
