Employees help with large trash collection campaign
Rheine. cpr. A group from the support and assistance area (FBB) of the Caritas Emstor workshops supported the “Clean Rheine” campaign from March 21 to 24.
Every morning, the group set out for 60 to 90 minutes with a handcart, garbage bags and gloves in their luggage to clear the neighboring forest edges, fields and paths of trash and litter. In addition to a lot of packaging waste and empty bottles, strange objects such as parts of a lawn mower or vacuum cleaner were also found during the action.
A total of seven bags of garbage were filled by the people with disabilities and their group leadership, according to the head of the Caritas-Emstor workshops, Markus Döpker, who took this opportunity to thank the employees and co-workers.
In great weather, the group had a lot of fun with the action and at the end the good feeling to have made the city of Rheine a little cleaner.
