Rheine. On Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will again be the traditional cold market in Rheines city center. Here you can enjoy shopping in a special atmosphere and maybe even buy a Christmas present or two. A highlight is the performance of the traditional tower brass band.
In the past, markets were mainly used by the rural population of Rheine and the surrounding area to provide them with clothing and everyday items. Although this function of the markets has now almost been lost, they have lost none of their charm.
