Many thanks to the donors

Overwhelming willingness to donate at the wish tree action in the Ems Gallery for the network “Where to? home at Rheine”.

RheineAfter last year’s well-received premiere, the wishing tree campaign was held again at the Ems Gallery in the run-up to Christmas. Ems Gallery center management staff set up the festively decorated Christmas tree in the entrance area of the Ems Gallery. The tree was decorated with tree labels with Christmas wishes from people in need, which visitors could remove to grant a wish. About 120 packages and parcels found their way to the center’s management and resulted in a large pile of colorful gifts.

These have now been handed over to the “Where to Go? Home at Rheine”. “Once again I am overwhelmed by the great willingness of the people at Rheine to donate this year. Many thanks to all the residents who participated and also to the center management staff,” said an elated Jörg Jäger of the town of Rheine on the great success of the action. The packages were handed over to those in need in time for Christmas. The lovingly wrapped gifts and the fact that someone put so much effort into them made this Christmas very special for the people who received them. It was evident on each person’s face when they received their gifts.

We would like to thank all the donors for making a nice Christmas possible for people in need.

The “Whither? At Home in Rheine” network consists of many different organizations such as Aktion Selbsthilfe e.V., Treff 100, the station mission Rheine, the soup kitchen Rheine, the emergency housing assistance of Caritas, the housing group for young adults and the homeless facility Kremer-Haus.
