Pupils from Bornevisit St. John’s School
Before the summer vacations, pupils from class 4a at St. John’s School in Eschendorf visited Borne. Today, the children from class 6/7 from Borne-Hertme paid a return visit to Rheine. Among other things, a visit to the nature zoo was on the program. Here the children were able to get to know the different animals using a task sheet.
If a pupil were to tell his teacher that he couldn’t complete the tasks because a monkey had stolen his piece of paper, the teacher would probably not believe it. In the monkey forest with the Barbary apes, however, this is possible. These monkeys grab everything they can get their hands on. Whether the Barbary macaque was able to solve the tasks was not known until the children returned.
