2100 new tablets for the Rheiner schools

Rheine. The Rheiner schools can look forward to more than 2100 tablets for school use. In the coming weeks, these tablets will be distributed to schools in the form of class sets. Thanks to funding from the European Union’s REACT-EU development aid program and the digital equipment campaign for schools in North Rhine-Westphalia, as well as the city of Rheine ‘s own contribution, it was possible to make this enormous purchase with a financial volume of over 1 million euros.

Alderman Raimund Gausmann made it clear that it is an investment in the future, especially in today’s time and also after the changes by Corona this acquisition gives the technical conditions for a new variant to learn, which can be implemented now by the teachers and in addition the children and young people the handling of the digital media more near brings.

The two school principals present made it clear that they are very happy about these new tablets. They make it easier for the children to learn in a differentiated way in many respects and offer completely new digital possibilities for teaching.
