E-Soccer tournament for young people aged 13 – 17 at the SC NEO clubhouse Borne
Borne/Rheine. Netherlands versus Germany – the classic in European soccer. Now it is being played in the small format of the town twinning Borne-Rheine – but under slightly different conditions. The partner committee Borne has invited young people aged 13 – 17 to take part in an e-soccer tournament on January 17, 2026 at the SC NEO clubhouse Borne. The town twinning association Rheine and the e-soccer department of FC Eintracht Rheine have gladly agreed to help organize this event. There will be joint transportation to Borne and back. Board members of the town twinning association and members of FCE E-Soccer will accompany the youngsters.
Registration is now open for all interested E-Soccer fans. E-sports enthusiasts can register using a QR code that can be found on the event poster. 20 young people from Rheine and 20 young people from Borne can take part. After registering, participants will receive all further details from the organizers.
The game will be FIFA E-Soccer on PS5. The equipment will be provided by the provider We-Play. Participation is free of charge and suitable for both beginners and advanced players (13-17 years). Participants can enjoy drinks and snacks during the tournament.After a group phase in which all participants are mixed, the final rounds follow. The two best players then compete against each other in the final on a big screen. The winner receives the friends-in-europe trophy. The first-placed players can also look forward to valuable prizes.
