RheineBefore the start of Remembrance Day in November, trainees from the city council spent a day cleaning the war memorials at the Königsesch cemetery. Andre Brüggemann, district chairman of the Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V. (German War Graves Commission) and Jens Hassink (employee of the public order office), who actively supported the trainees, had called for the campaign.
