An offer for elderly people in Rheine, Neuenkirchen and Wettringen
Rheine. cpr. This year the Caritas deanery old people’s conference with its many honorary aids and aids with support of the advice center for older humans and their members offers again “travelling without suit-cases”. This “vacation offer is a city vacation for older people and elderly people with limited mobility. Traveling without suitcases takes place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on five consecutive afternoons from June 27 to July 1 at the St. Johannes Baptist parish center in Rheine-Mesum. The kitchen and helpers team, led by Kathi Focke and Hans-Jürgen Pelke, is already waiting there. The trip participants are picked up from their homes and brought back in the evening by volunteer drivers. The event begins at 2 p.m. with a coffee break. In addition to the coffee table, there will be a varied program of events. With the help of various groups, there will be a colorful and varied program with dance groups, games and music. There is also the possibility to rest in the shade of the trees in the garden of the parish center. The day ends at 5 pm.
